Actor Runyeon one-man Gospel shows to be performed Sept. 25-27

WINDHAM – Actor Frank Runyeon will bring his one-man plays, “A Journey to Joy,” based on Scripture to St. Anthony of Padua Parish Sept. 25, 26 and 27.
Each show will be different, and they are free and open to the public, who can attend one or all three.
“The public is welcome to meet, greet, and take photos with Frank after each performance,” said the Rev. Lou Phillips, pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Parish. “This is a family-friendly event designed for adults and children of all ages. All are welcome.”
Runyeon is an Emmy-nominated actor who has played Steve Andropoulos on “As the World Turns” from 1980 to 1987; Michael Donnelly on “Santa Barbara” from 1988 to 1991, and also appeared on “General Hospital,” “All My Children,” “The Young and the Restless,” “Falcon Crest,” “L.A. Law” and Melrose Place. For more than 25 years, he has performed the Gospel for hundreds of thousands of people in almost every state in America.

Sunday, Sept. 25, 6:30 p.m., Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 919 Roosevelt Trail. Theme: Stories from the Gospel of Luke.
Monday, Sept. 26, 6:30 p.m., St. Hyacinth Church, 268 Brown St., Westbrook. Theme: Sermon on the Mount.
Tuesday, Sept. 27, 6:30 p.m., St. Anne Church, 299 Main St., Gorham. Theme: Contemporary Struggles to Live Faithfully in the Media Age.
