SWEDEN – Winners have been announced in the Sweden Food Pantry Volunteers and Board 50/50 raffle.
The winning ticket was drawn Saturday, Aug. 6, at Sweden Days, outside the historic restored school house. The winner was David Sundwall, of Sweden and Salt Lake City, Utah. Sundwall donated his $894.00 in winnings back to the food pantry.
This is the second year in a row the food pantry has held a 50/50 raffle as a fundraiser in conjunction with Sweden Days.
The Sweden Food Pantry is open 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. the first and third Wednesday of the month. It serves Sweden, Lovell, Fryeburg, Stow, Stoneham, Waterford, Harrison and Bridgton. It is a partner of the Good Shepherd Food Bank of Maine and doesn’t turn away any eligible family, no matter where they live.
