CLT ‘School of Rock – the musical’ production crew announced

AUBURN – The production crew for the upcoming Community Little Theatre’s “School of Rock – The Musical,” has been announced.
Director Paul Caron said the crew will include Connor Davis (stage crew), Makenzie LeBlanc (sound designer), Noah Keneborus (audio engineer), Sarah Chaloux (assistant stage manager), and Brandon Chaloux (stage manager), Ashleigh St. Pierre (producer), Sue Caron (assistant director), Dan Kane (set design/construction lead), Colleen Keith (props master), Jane Mitchell (lead costumer), Maria Groover (choreographer), Maddi Dubois (stage crew), Matt Conklin (lighting design), Joshua Conklin (light board) and Manis Hermann (stage crew).
Based on the 2003 movie starring Jack Black, “School of Rock – The Musical” tells the story of wannabe rock star Dewey Finn, who is cast out by his dive-bar bandmates and finds himself in desperate need of cash. Posing as a substitute music teacher at an elite prep school, he exposes his students to his rock idols and transforms them into a rock band with one primary goal – to win the Battle of the Bands. The show features 14 new songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber, as well as all the original songs from the movie.
School of Rock will be performed at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 11, 12, 13, 18, 19 and 20; and at 2 p.m. on Aug. 14 and 21 at CLT, 30 Academy St. Call 207-783-0958 or visit LACLT.com for tickets and information.
