Allies for Autism benefit ride, outdoor event is Aug. 13

STONEHAM — The 11th annual Allies for Autism benefit ride will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at Pulpit Rock Trail Blazah’s ATV Club, Abby Road.
The Ultimate Country II band will provide the music, and the event is free to the public, with no ATV needed to participate — just bring a chair and enjoy the day. A “full day meal” of a hamburger, cheeseburger or two red hot dogs, chips, water or soda and cookie will be available for $8, and there will also be a 50/50 raffle, auction, and more.
The site is handicapped-accessible.
The club, which represents the Waterford reagion, has raised more than $35,000 for autism charities, as well as more than $10,000 for Harvest Hills Animal Shelter, Responsible Pet Care Animal Shelter and Coins for K-9’s.
