Taps are flowing at Kennbec River Brewfest

AUGUSTA – The fifth annual Kennebec River Brewfest, hosting by the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce, will take place noon to 5 p.m. at Mill Park in Augusta,
There will be more than 60 craft breweries, distillieries, wineries and more represented, from Augusta to Bangor to Portland and beyond.
The event brings the community together and allows local Maine breweries and distilleries to showcase their business. Food vendors, lawn games, and more will all be available as well.
Brewfest attendees will be given special wrist bands to identify them, including a wristband for the designated driver of the group. Tickets can be bought at the door for $50. All tickets include a souvenir tasting glass, unlimited four-ounce beer tastings and half-ounce spirit tastings, and admission from noon to 5 p.m. Designated driver tickets are $5 per person and provide access to the Brewfest and complimentary water.
Live music includes a lineup of local talent starting with Tourmaline, Rob Burnell, Ellis Falls and Country Roads ending the day.
