OQUOSSOC – The Rangeley Lakes Region Historical Society has several events coming up in August.
The International Fly Fishing Film Festival will be held beginning 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at Lakeside Theater, 2493 Main St., Rangeley. The festival features films produced by professional filmmakers from all corners of the globe that show the passion of fly fishing.

During Oquossoc Day, Saturday, Aug. 13, the grounds of the Outdoor Heritage Museum, 8 Rumford Road, will be filled with arts, crafts, and antiques vendors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Outdoor Heritage Museum will be open for tours and the museum gift shop will be open.
The RLRHS annual fundraiser auction will run through Aug. 14. Visit outdoorheritagemuseum.org. All proceeds support the operations and programming of the Historical Society.
The mission of the Rangeley Lakes Region Historical Society is to preserve, celebrate, and share the important history and heritage of the region. The RLRHS includes the Outdoor Heritage Museum as well as the Rangeley History Museum in downtown Rangeley.
