Roorbach to speak at Bailey Library July 27

WINTHROP – Author Bill Roorbach will be guest speaker at Bailey Library 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 27 at the library, 39 Bowdoin St.
The talk will focus on Roorbach’s new novel “Lucky Turtle,” published by Algonquin Books. Roorbach’s other books include “The Girl of the Lake,” the Kirkus Prize finalist “The Remedy for Love,” the bestselling “Life Among Giants” and the Flannery O’Connor Award–winning collection “Big Bend.”
His memoir in nature, “Temple Stream” won the Maine Literary Award in nonfiction. His craft book “Writing Life Stories” has been in print for 25 years.
