Free Wildlife Walk Series hike is July 12 in Wilton

WILTON — Foothills Land Conservancy Preserve is hosting a free outdoors walk, part of the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Summer Wildlife Walk Series, at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 12.
The Foothills Land Conservancy preserve is designed for public use and conservation. Walkers will see songbirds, butterflies, and soaring hawks. The fields and forest edge provide ample habitat for various types of wildlife including small mammals and deer.
The walk is about two miles roundtrip, considered easy, and is free and open to the public. Bring binoculars if you have them, as well as water.
