Wayne Strawberry Festival is July 9

WAYNE – The Wayne Strawberry Festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 9, in the village.
The festival will include booths with crafters, artisans, authors and other vendors, music, food, children’s activities and more.
The Cardboard Boat Race will include the Kid’s Division (13 and under) at noon and Adult Division (over 13) at 12:30.
Maine Cabin Master Chase Morrill will be the featured guest at the dunk tank from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Other features are a strawberry jam contest, with judging at 1 p.m.; Wayne Community Church auction, Cary Memorial Library quilt raffle and a goat petting zoo.
