BRIDGTON – Gallery 302 has welcomed woodworking artist Nick Todisco to its membership. Todisco, a Vermont native, now lives in Bridgton with his wife, daughters and dogs Moose and Barn.
Todisco said he’s an animal lover, who gets much of the inspiration for his woodworking creations from animals. “I enjoy taking a raw piece of wood and envisioning what I can create based on the type of wood with all of its unique patterns and characteristics,” Todisco said. “I enjoy making practical pieces, such as cutting boards and serving platters and make them unique with wood burned designs.” He is excited about taking what started out as a hobby in his childhood to the next level.
Todisco’s artwork and the art of all Gallery 302 members, is on display during gallery hours, noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The gallery is free and open to the public.
