RUMFORD – The Androscoggin River Adventure Canoe Race, sponsored by Chisholm Ski Club Paddle Sports, will be held Saturday, Aug. 27, beginning at 10 a.m., at the Rumford Public Boat Launch, U.S. Route 2 (next to McDonald’s).
Race classes start at 10 a.m., with recreational classes beginning at 10:30 a.m.
There is a 10-mile course for race classes, and a 5-mile course for recreational classes.
Race classes: K-1 Men, K-1 Women, K-1 Jr., C-2, C-1, C2-Jr/Sr, C2-Jr, SUP Men, SUP Women, Surf Ski
Recreational classes: K-1 Men, K-1 Women, K-1 Jr., C-2, C-1, C2-Jr/Sr, C2-Jr, SUP Men, SUP Women
There will also be live music, food vendors, awards and free T-shirts to the first 100 registrants. To register, visit chisolmskiclub.org/paddlesports.
