WINTHROP — The Kennebec Land Trust is hosting a birding outing from 7 to 9 a.m. Saturday, May 21, at Holman Conservation Area, in Litchfield.
Local birders and Kennebec Land Trust volunteers Howard Lake and Glenn Hodgkins will lead the walk on the 75-acre property, which features a mixture of early successional woodlands and wetlands, making it a great place for birdwatching, especially during peak migration. Birders of all skill levels are welcome. (Please leave pets at home)
The conservation is on Melanie Lane, off Upper Pond Road in Litchfield.
