Volunteers helped clean up the town during the ninth annual Earth Day volunteer cleanup, April 22. Prizes donated by local businesses were given in several categories by Farmington Library Director Jessica Casey, this year’s volunteer coordinator. Youngest Volunteer – Alora Brown, who was awarded a Minkins Toy, and supervised parents Tyler and Sydney Brown from her stroller.
Most Litter Picked Up by Individual — Hannah Boivin, who received a Main Street Nutrition gift card.
Most Litter Picked Up by Team — Mt. Blue Middle School Impact Club members Skyllar Eaton, Kaitlyn Rosie and Molly Patterson, accompanied by teacher Denise Mochamer, who all earned Renys gift cards.
