Very good dogs, their people enjoy 6th annual Best Dog on Earth Day event

RANGELEY – The 6th annual Best Dog on Earth Day event, hosted by the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce, drew many very good dogs and their people on Saturday, April 23.
The Franklin County Animal Shelter joined the morning, providing adoption information and low-cost nail trims, microchips. A portion of the proceeds from the fun run/walk was donated to the shelter.
Pre-registered participant were entered in a raffle for a prize basket of items donated by local businesses. The winner was Jeffery Brann and his golden retriever Boone. Boone also won the Most Handsome prize.

Biggest Dog – Turbo/Mat Viehmann
Prettiest Dog – Maisy/Martha Thompson
Look Alike – Ida
Smallest Dog – Halley.
