Rangeley Ringers free May 13 concert will honor Ukraine’s people

RANGELEY — The Ecumenical Bell Choir of Rangeley, also known as the Rangeley Ringers, will present an evening of music to honor the people of Ukraine at 6 p.m. Friday, May 13, at Church of the Good Shepherd, 2614 Main St.
The event is free and open to the public.
The concert will include music by the Rangeley Ringers as well as Yanina Nickless, from Ukraine, as guest speaker. There will also be a display of artwork by Rangeley students.
The Rangeley Ecumenical Bell Choir was established in 1982 by Win Pusey, wife of the Rev. Brad Pusey of the Rangeley Congregational Church. Over the years, the Congregational Women’s Fellowship has contributed to the financial support of the choir. The group consists of up to a dozen members and is directed by Sue Downes-Borko, a position she’s held since 2003. Other members are Ana Wetherill, Marie Beauregard, Ben Wetherill, Brittany Wetherill, Donna Brown, Erin Smith, Zenna Inness and Jennifer Atwood.
