Belgrade Lakes area trail events scheduled throughout May

BELGRADE – 7 Lakes Alliance, 137 Main St., has a variety of outdoor events scheduled for the coming weeks. All of the event are free and open to the public.
Saturday, May 7 is Stewardship Trail Day, which begins at 10 a.m. at the French Mountain trailhead, Watson Pond Road, Rome.
Sunday, May 15, there will be an evening hike on French Mountain, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, May 29, the organization will host a family hiking and map reading event, beginning at 1 p.m. at French Mountain. At 7 p.m. the same day there will be a night sky tour, location to be announced.
On Saturday, June 4, in celebration of National Trails Day, the alliance will hold another Stewardship Trail Day, beginning at 10 a.m., Location to be announced.
