LEWISTON — SeniorsPlus, the designated Area Agency on Aging serving Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties, has announced the election of three new members to its board of directors.
Tina Riley, who served two terms in the Maine House of Representatives, is an electrician by trade and resides in Jay. She feels a special connection to the mission of SeniorsPlus, as she is the primary caregiver for her adult son, who has muscular dystrophy.
Gary McGranem also of Jay, is an organizer and retired educator. While working for the Bureau of Labor Education, he served on the board of directors for Penobscot Indian Nation Enterprises. Before that, he was the CEO for Federal Program Integrators for the Penobscot Nation. He is currently president of Maine Education Association-Retired, representing more than 5,000 retired educators.
Raised in Presque Isle, Dustin Ward resides in New Gloucester and holds a master of divinity. As a self-described racial equity and reconciliation advocate, Ward is the president and founder of It Is Time, an organization that looks to bring advocacy and end racism in all communities across Maine and New England. He is also a member of New Gloucester’s select board.
SeniorsPlus is the Western Maine designated Area Agency on Aging covering Franklin, Oxford and Androscoggin counties.
