Somatic movement practice is a way for cancer patients and survivors to manage their ability to move as freely and pain-free as possible, help with chronic pain and help individuals find more ease in daily movement, like walking, running, reaching up, bending down, twisting, lifting and more. The practice of somatic movement involves releasing muscular tension by re-education the nervous system with safe and gentle movements lying down, seated and or standing.
