WINTHROP — Kennebec Land Trust’s Parker Pond Headland Preserve, on Fellows Cove Road in Fayette, is closed to hikers during mud season, approximately mid March to late April.
During this time, tFellows Cove Road road is only open to homeowners to minimize the impacts on the road. Maintenance costs associated with mud season are expensive. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. For more information, please visit our website.

During mud season, KLT recommends hikers visit the nearby Ezra Smith Conservation Area in Mount Vernon, Torsey Pond Nature Preserve or Rosmarin & Saunders Family Forest in Readfield or Hutchinson Pond in Manchester instead.
