A hand-painted gourd is part of the altar display at the Congregational Church of East Sumner, a visible symbol of support for the Ukrainian people. It is painted yellow and blue with a sunflower–the colors of the Ukrainian flag and their national flower. The church has sent $200 to support Ukrainian refugees and will host a fundraiser during the Annual Spring Sale May 14. (Submitted photo)
