Leavitt has succesful Class B Nordic state meet

TURNER — The Leavitt Nordic ski team competed at the MPA Class B Nordic State Championships on Feb. 23-24, with the best finishes the team has had in more than 10 years.
The event was held at Black Mountain, in Rumford.
Highlights for the Hornets were:
Girls Team: 2022 MPA Class B Nordic State runners-up
Girls Team: 2022 MPA Class B. Nordic Sportsmanship Award
Boys Team: 2022 MPA Class B Nordic Sportsmanship Award
Logan Ouellette: state champion in classical, state champion in pursuit, 5th in freestyle
Ali Dening: 3rd in freestyle, 8th in pursuit
Jade Haylock: 4th in classical, 8th in freestyle, and 5th in the pursuit
Abby Marston: 9th in freestyle, 12th in pursui
Iris Petrin: 11th in classical, 14th in pursuit
Nathaniel Bell: 16th in classical, 16th in pursuit
