HEBRON — Beth Francis, of the Hebron Historical Society, recently briefed members and guests on her production of the town’s historical panels, which were displayed in the Maine State Bicentennial Parade last year.
Through countless calls and interviews, Francis amassed a significant collection of Hebron data and photographs that reflect more than 200 years of town history. Besides the huge history panels constructed for the parade, she voluntarily initiated, and hopes to continue, with the help of the society, to collect additional history for a booklet containing this information for eventual publication for the public interest.
The panels are presently hanging on display at the Hebron Town Office and Hebron Station School.
