RANGELEY — The seventh annual Rangeley Winterpaloozah will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, at Haley Pond.
The free event is hosted by the Rangeley Skating Club and the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce. It will include horse and wagon rides, ice skating, curling, pond hockey, snowshoes, kick sleds, marshmallow roast, snow golf, snowball toss, saucer bowling, snow kiting, snow castle and more.
There are also some pay-to-enter competitions for the entire family (including dogs), with prizes for winners. Competitions include the Dog Keg Pull, the Firewood Toss, and Buoy Ball. The Cardboard Sled Race, for kids under 12, does not require a fee but a prize will be awarded for the most creative sled and the fastest run.
Hot lunch will be available starting at 11 a.m.
Those who would like to enter all competitions may buy a Paloozah Pass, available at Ecopelagicon and the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce, as well as the day of the event.
