Girl Scouts informational session is Feb. 9 at Lewiston Public Library

Jan. 302022

LEWISTON — A Girl Scout representative will be at Lewiston Public Library’s Children’s Department beginning at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, to answer questions from parents and girls interested in the organization.
The program is free, open to the public, and no registration is required. A free Girl Scout activity from one of the many badges that Scouts earn will be available to pick up. Girl Scouts allows girls of all backgrounds and abilities to be themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges—whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends. Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
The library is at 200 Lisbon St. For information, call 207-513-3133.
