Fayette Giving Tree needs more givers by Dec. 17

FAYETTE — Teacher Susan Morin is making an appeal to the community for an additional response to the giving tree.
Morin coordinates the tree every year for the children of the community. Although the tree received a good response on Election Day by many who stopped by to vote, there are still ll several requests left to fulfill for this Christmas.
The Giving Tree is a confidential way to collect gifts for Fayette families in need. The tree is usually on display at Central School and at other town events, but COVID has made that impossible this year.
Those who would like to help may select a gift from the drop-down in this linked form, buy it and drop it off (unwrapped) at Fayette Central School by Dec. 17. Items purchased online may be shipped directly to FCS at 2023 Main St. Fayette, ME 04349.
For information, or if the form isn’t accessible, call Morin at 207-685-1007.
