LEWISTON – The Friends of Lewiston Public Library annual book sale will be from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at the library, 200 Lisbon St.
The sale will be preceded by the annual FLPL meeting at 10 a.m.
Books, CDs and DVDs will be sold fill-a-bag style, with $5 filling a provided plastic grocery bag, $8 a standard-size reusable shopping bag and $10 to buy and fill a larger Lewiston Public Library logo bag.
All proceeds from sales and donations go to library special events, programming and purchases not covered by the annual budget. Friends of LPL is a nonprofit organization that supports the library.
