AUBURN — The Androscoggin Land Trust annual meeting will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, in a virtual format.
The meeting is free and open to the public, and will include a keynote talk by MItch Thomashow, author of “To Know the World,” as well as a celebration of this year’s award winners, introduction of new board members and an update on the trust’s land conservation activities.
Thomashow, in his book, proposes that “we revitalize, revisit and reinvigorate how we think about our residency on Earth” in order to address the climate crisis. This includes understanding the major challenges of migration, race, inequity, climate justice and democracy and how they connect to the biosphere.
