The Leavitt Hornets celebrate after winning the Class B field hockey crown on Nov. 6, beating Old Town, 1-0, at Augusta’s Fuller Field. It’s the first title the Hornets have one since 2012, and their fourth since 1994. The Hornets (16-3) were seeded No. 5 in the South Region, and beat No. 12 South Region Lincoln Academy, No. 4 Fryeburg, No. 1 York and No. 2 Cape Elizabeth to reach the final.
