MADRID – The traditional Thanksgiving morning service will resume at Reeds Mill Church, at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 25.
Face masks are required. The church is at 995 Reeds Mill Road.
Russell Karvonen, of Internet Theological Education by Extension (iteeg.org), will lead worship. He has led services at the church several times.
This 129-year-old one-room “Church in the Wildwood” remains essentially as it was when built — no electricity or running water and with original kerosene lamps. The Thanksgiving service has become an annual tradition for many families.
