LEWISTON — Lewiston Public Library, in collaboration with Purplebean Bindery, is hosting a book binding workshop for adults and teens from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4.
The program is free and open to the teens and adults. Registration is required. It will take place in the Couture Room at Lewiston Public Library, 200 Lisbon St.
Anna Low, of Purplebean Bindery, will teach a class on book-binding including a workshop on how to make folded accordion books. Participants will create a single sheet folded accordion book with pockets, perfect for love notes, business cards, or any fun paper ephemera. Several books can be made during the class, and each student will leave with printed instructions on how to continue creating folded books on their own at home.
