Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary golf tournament raises $10,000

BRIDGTON — Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club held its 12th annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 18, at Bridgton Highlands Country Club.
The Rotary Club thanked all those who made the tournament a success, including our sponsors, our golfers, our volunteers and, of course, Bridgton Highlands Country Club. There were 68 golfers and 40 sponsors.
“Everything was superlative,” said Lisa Ryan, committee chair. “We had more golfers and sponsors than ever before. The weather was great for the game. The food provided by Stella’s on the Square and the Bridgton Highlands Country Club was outstanding. And we raised the amount of money we were hoping to, $10,000. This will allow us to continue to do the kind of work in the community that we are dedicated to doing.”
