Oxford church 3-T auction is Sept. 18

OXFORD — Oxford Advent Christian Church will hold a 3-T auction at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, to benefit the mission trip to San Felipe, Mexico.
The event will include a free meal with hot dogs, beans, coleslaw and dinner roles. The auction will begin at 6 p.m. Items to be auctioned will consist of talents, treats and treasures, including homemade items, artwork, decorations, baked goods and more. Those who attend my bring a donation of new men’s and women’s underwear and socks that will be distributed to the centers.
The Oxford Advent Christian Church will be sending a team of people from local churches to San Felipe to the 99 plus 1 Ministry compound Oct. 26-Nov. 4. The team will provide assistance to people in need in the area, work in their homes providing electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs, vision testing, support to the rehabilitation centers, orphanage, senior centers and school.
