LEWISTON — Firefighters will host Lewiston Firefighters Community Day, a day-long event at L-A Harley, 839 Main St., that will begin at 8:46 a.m. with a 9-11 remembance ceremony.
A representative from U.S. Sen. Susan Collins’ office will speak at the 20th anniversary commemoration, as well as Lewiston Fire Department chaplain John Robbins, executive director of Hope Haven Gospel Mission.
A pancake breakfast will follow the ceremony.
The 8:46 a.m. to 10 p.m., Lewiston Firefighters Community Day, will include the band Latch, an extrication demo, the lawn game cornhole and fireworks. Children’s activities will be available until 3 p.m., with a bounce house, kids muster, face painting, games, and more.
Food trucks will also be on site.
