Bridgton Public Library Shred-a-Thon is Oct. 2

Sep. 52021

BRIDGTON — The Bridgton Public Library will hold a community document shredding day from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Oct. 2, behind the First Congregational Church at 33 North High St.
The event is open to individuals and small businesses. The suggested donation is $15 for a standard letter-size banker’s box.
The Shred-a-Thon will benefit the Youth Services Department of the Bridgton Public Library. Material to be shredded can be in bags or boxes. There’s no need to remove paper clips, staples or hanging file frames. Everything will be shredded immediately by Records Management Center using an NAID AAA Certified shredding process that renders confidential materials totally unreadable. All of the paper will be recycled.
A certificate of destruction is available if needed.
