BRIDGTON – Bridgton Historical Society will host “Abraham Lincoln Alive,” with Lincoln re-enactor John Voehl.
The talk will be at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, at Narramissic Farm, 46 Narramissic Road, South Bridgton. Members of the 3rd Maine Volunteer Infantry Company A will participate.
Voehl has provided more than 1,300 Lincoln presentations in 45 states. He is a lifetime member of the Association of Lincoln Presenters and is recognized nationally as a Lincoln historian and presenter as the 16th president of the United States.
Those attending may bring chairs, blankets and drinks. The event will be outside. The event is free and open to the public. Donations are accepted.
Following the speech there a gourmet dinner “with Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln: will be raffled to two winners. Each winning ticket includes dinner for two.
Rain date is Saturday, Sept. 11.
