AUBURN — L/A Community Little Theatre will hold auditions for a November production of Music Theatre International’s “All Together Now!: A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre.”
A large ensemble cast is needed for the musical revue, including performers of all ages (over 12 years old) and genders. All participants must be fully vaccinated.
Auditions are 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, at Great Falls Performing Arts Center, 30 Academy St.
Show dates are Mov. 12 through 14.
The revue features songs from “Annie,” “Les Misérables,” “Guys and Dolls,” “Newsies,” “Hairspray,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Frozen,” “Little Shop of Horrors,” “Mamma Mia!” and more.
The show will be directed by Lynn O’Donnell, with music directed by Paul Caron. Auditions will not have a dance portion. For vocal auditions, participants are asked to prepare an audition piece of 16 bars. Copies of the music will be available for anyone singing “Be Our Guest” (Beauty & the Beast), “Tomorrow” (Annie), “Matchmaker” (Fiddler on the Roof), “Gimme, Gimme” (Thoroughly Modern Millie), “Somewhere That’s Green” (Little Shop of Horrors), “I Dreamed a Dream” (Les Misérables), “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat” (Guys and Dolls), “Seize the Day” (Newsies), “Let It Go” (Frozen), “You Can’t Stop the Beat” (Hairspray). Those singing pieces from a different show are asked to provide sheet music for Caron to play. No a cappella auditions will be allowed.
