HEBRON — Fred Huntress will be the guest speaker at the next meeting of the Hebron Historical Society, beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, at the Town Office, 351 Paris Road.
Huntress has researched the homestead he owns on Hebron Center Road, as well an old farm building there, including the adjacent Maple Ridge Cemetery and a grammar school.
He is a retired forester, purchasing this land after moving to Hebron. As a member of the local Historical Society, he wanted to brief them on his research. The property is two miles from Hebron Academy by way of Station Road and half a mile down Hebron Center Road.
The public is invited; masks are not required, if vaccinated.
