LEWISTON — La Rencontre returns to the Gendron Franco Center on Thursday, Aug. 12. La Rencontre (French for “the gathering”) is a way for the community’s extended Franco-American family to connect and reconnect with each other.
The lunch is open to the public and includes music, and price of information includes parking. All proceeds benefit the Gendron Franco Center’s programs.
Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. Tickets must be bought by 4 p.m. on the Monday before the lunch.
Entertainment on Aug. 12 will be Nel Meservier and Mike Willette, and the menu will be lasagna with dinner rolls, tossed garden salad and dessert. Coffee and tea is included. For ticket information and more, visit www.francocenter.org or call 207-783-1585.
