WINTHROP — Kennebec Land Trust will dedicate the Weston Woods Preserve at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12.
KLT permanently protected the 55-acre preserve on Little Cobbossee Lake in East Winthrop in late December. The public is invited to join KLT staff, board members and land donors Bob and Jim Weston in celebrating the new Weston Woods trail and property.
The organization’s annual meeting and field trips will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22 at Camp Winnebago, 19 Echo Lake Road, Fayette.
