Sumner church bean suppers are Aug. 7, 28
SUMNER — Public beanhole bean suppers at the Congregational Church of East Sumner will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7 and 28.
The meal includes beans, hot dogs, brown bread, coleslaw and dessert. The cost is $8 for adults, $5 for those age 5-15, and $23 for a family. Takeout is available after 6 p.m. at the back deck entrance. There will be both indoor and outdoor dining.
