RANGELEY — Jim Ferrara, who spent 25 years at the Portland Jetport working as an air traffic controller, will present the program “Air Traffic Control: How Does It Work?” at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, at the Rangeley Public Library, 7 Lake St.
Ferrara will discuss how the air traffic control system works and how an aircraft gets from one airport to another. He will also touch on job opportunities in air traffic control, and answer questions.
The program is free, but anyone interested in attending may sign up at the library in person or by calling 207-864-5529 to reserve a space.
