Friends of Norway Library book sales to be held throughout summer

NORWAY — The Friends of Norway Memorial Library will hold used book sales on the lawn of the Gingerbread House, 500 Main Stt., on several Saturdays this summer., Norway, Maine.
The book sales are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rain may cause cancellation. Fiction in hardcover and paperback and children’s and teen books are available at all sales. Select items and genres featured on the following dates:
Saturday, June 26: Old books, first edition hardcover fiction titles and bound volumes of National Geographic magazine, Many of the first editions are in mylar dust jackets. They are from a private collection, and are not previously circulated library books.
Saturday, July 10: Maine books and old Downeast magazines. Maine books are by Maine authors, are about Maine, or are books are set in Maine.
Saturday, July 24: History and biography.
Saturday, Aug. 14: A $1 a bag sale, fiction for adults and children, and nonfiction genres including biography, health and fitness, how-to, politics, relationships, religion, sports, and travel.
Shoppers may park in the municipal lot on Water Street and use the footbridge to the Gingerbread House or park along Main Street. Parking is not available in the Gingerbread House driveway.
