NORWAY — The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine has moved one street away to 59 Winter St.. The new locatoin is behind the Bob and Sandy Bahre Health Center. The center is still unpacking and getting settled, but is available to help via phone, email and appointment. Plans are to welcome everyone back in person in July.
Services at the center include a variety of weekly virtual classes and programs [1], a library of recorded yoga and fitness classes on the website and YouTube channel that are accessible through smartphone, tablet or computer, free complementary therapy sessions, comfort items such as wigs, arm and neck pillows, port protectors, rice bags, wrap quilts, hats, afghans etc., food and travel assistance as well as the assistance of the oncology social worker to help you connect to other resources.
