FAYETTE — The Fayette Board of Selectmen will resume in-person meetings on Tuesday May 18.
The board of selectman meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and be held Fayette Central School. The select board is continuing its work finalizing municipal warrant article questions.
A public hearing will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 18, at the school. Annual Town Meeting is 6 p.m., Tuesday, June 29, in person in the Fayette Central School Gymnasium.
Also on June 29, he muncipal and school elections will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to elect and fill seats for one select board and three school committee positions. Nominations are due Monday, May 17. As of Friday, May 14, only the incumbent Selectmen Jon Beekman had successfully obtained and completed the nomination process. Therefore, after Monday, assuming no change, registered voters can write in their candidate of choice for anyand all of the four positions.
