Music for Mavis opens at the Gazebo May 21 with Mary Murphy

TURNER — Music for Mavis, Tuesdays at the Gazebo will open its 12th summer season at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, with singer and songwriter Mary Murphy.
Murphy, who accompanies herself on piano, blues harp and guitar, performs originals, covers select blues artists, and stylizes songs of other genres by weaving a web of jazzy blues around them.
Attendees should observe the CDC guidelines of social distancing, and sit with their own groups. Please stay home if you don’t feel well, wear a mask when moving about and do not approach the stage or the musicians.
A hat will be passed to support the musicians, and there will also be a milk can for those who prefer to donate without contact.
Bring a chair, bring a blanket, bring an umbrella — there is no rain venue this year.
