Community Little Theatre annual silent auction runs through May 30

AUBURN — The L-A Community Little Theatre third annual Not So Little Online Auction will run through May 30 and is aimed at raising money for the return of live theater performances.
Bidding will go live at noon Sunday, May 16, and will continue through 8 p.m. Sunday, May 30. Money raised from this year’s auction will go to the theater’s building fund. Items to be auctioned have been donated by local businesses, including private sailing cruises, signed theater memorabilia, designer purses, art work, cookware, golf outings, and dance and piano lessons.
The focus of CLT’s last auction, which raised $6,700, was to cover costs incurred after the theater had to shut down because of the pandemic. While the theater has yet to launch its first post-COVID production, volunteers have been busy with behind-the-scenes activity and making improvements to the theater. The CLT community hopes to bring back live theater to the Lewiston-Auburn community in the near future.
