LEWISTON — When Lewiston High School students returning from April vacation will be greeted with notes of encouragement posted on lockers throughout the school.
The Lewiston Youth Advisory Council was recently contacted by Lewiston High School teacher Judy Radigan who was planning to decorate the high school with uplifting notes and colorful bulletin boards to greet returning students.
As such, she asked LYAC if they could do another “Lock in Your Kindness” event like they did in 2019 by placing post-its on lockers, which had been done that year as part of the group’s anti-bullying campaign. LYAC responded in the affirmative, and several current members began writing uplifting, encouraging post-it notes.
On Friday, April 23, four LYAC reps were on site posting lockers while Radigan decorated areas of the school.
