GREENE — Morse Library is holding its Spring Outdoor Book and Plant Sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 29. Rain date is June 5.
All money raised goes to Friends of the Morse Library, an independent nonprofit group that provides financial support for library programs and events. All books in the sale are either donated or are discards from the library collection and are priced at 50 cents each or fill a bag for $5. Bags will be provided.
Plants are donated by local residents and Lil’s Family Greenhouse, and will be individually priced.
Town residents are also invited to participate in the library’s community survey, which can be found at www.jammlibrary.org. The survey will help gauge what people in town value about the library and what other services it can add or improve. The library wants to hear from everyone, even people who don’t use the library. Paper copies of the survey can be mailed to local addresses and are available upon request at 207-946-5544.
