SOUTH PARIS — A volunteer workday has been scheduled the McLaughlin Garden and Homestead for Friday, April 30.
Area residents may come meet the new gardeners and introduce themselves “as part of the best volunteer group around” at the property, 95 Main St., organizers said.
The day begins at 9 a.m. and a pot luck lunch will be served between 12:30 and 1 p.m. Volunteers should bring their work gloves, sense of humor and enthusiasm, as well as their love for the McLaughlin Garden.
The cleanup is already off to a good start because of an enthusiastic volunteer cleanup in the fall. Those attending should RSVP, so there’s enough food at the pot luck, by clikcing here.
