The Table set for another season of kayak, other outdoor events

NORWAY — The Table Healthy Outdoor Group, an offshoot of The Table community space, offers healthy outdoor activities that are free or inexpensive for people of the Oxford Hills region and beyond.
Last summer the group kayaked 20 different bodies of water in the Oxford Hills/western Maine area. During the pandemic kayaking provides a safe social activity. Over the winter, the group hiked many trails together, enjoying the Maine winter outdoors. Now that the ice is out of the ponds the group is looking forward to another summer of offering the experience of kayaking to people who are looking for a safe, fun and free activity. The group has some extra kayaks and always want to bring people along whether they have kayaks or not.
The group is seeking donations of kayaks, paddles and life jackets so there are enough to offer participants. Monetary donations will be used toward purchase of kayaks and equipment. To donate, contact A-J Alexander, director, at aaturnleft3@gmail.com. The mailing address is BMUMC “The Table” P.O. Box 859, Harrison, ME 04040
